Khunjerab top(Sost Boarder) is the Highest International Boarder Crossing in The World.....

               Khunjerab Top is the highest paved international border crossing in the world, located at an altitude of 4,693 meters (15,397 feet) above sea level. It connects  Gilgit-Baltistan with China (Xinjiang region) through the Karakoram Highway.

     It serves as the main crossing point between Gilgit Baltistan and China.

It is a key route for trade under the  (CPEC).

Tourists visit Khunjerab Pass for its breathtaking scenery, snow-covered peaks, and high-altitude adventure.

The Khunjerab National Park, home to snow leopards and ibex, is nearby.

The pass remains closed from November to April due to heavy snowfall.

Even in summer, temperatures can be very low, with strong winds.

The Gilgit Baltistan-China border checkpoint is located here, monitored by customs and immigration authorities.

The famous Khunjerab Pass Gate marks the boundary between both nations.

          Khunjerab Top is not just a geographical marvel but also a key economic and strategic link between Gilgit Baltistan and China. It is an essential part of CPEC, trade, and tourism, making it one of the most significant border crossings in the region
